Denis, 16, today runs his own company

A talent like Denis gives the impression that he started programming at an early age. However, he told us when he took his first steps in the field of programming:

“I started programming back in 2019, at the age of 13. So when I enrolled at Shkolla Digjitale, I began learning the basics and first knowledge of programming.”

How much the lessons at Shkolla Digjitale influenced his development as a programmer, he tells us more:

"The programming course at Shkolla Digjitale had a very important impact on my development as a programmer and on the skills I acquired. Starting from basic knowledge at the initial levels up to more advanced skills at the professional levels. These knowledge, besides helping me a lot at work, also influenced my expression of creativity and critical thinking." he said. We recall that Denis, thanks to his commitment and acquired knowledge, was declared the winner in the programming competition (Hackathon) organized as part of the Information Technology Festival KosICT, with the project “Feel the Space”. Also, he was declared a finalist in the biggest coding competition in Kosovo, November Code Fest 2021.

After his successive successes, Denis founded his startup company "Dookoo" which he founded together with some foreign partners.

“Thanks to the collaboration with some foreign colleagues, I got the opportunity to contribute to the opening of the company "Dookoo" with location in London, for which I work remotely from Kosovo. This company offers services for Business Growth and Digital Transformation with the most advanced technologies and with unique strategies and services worldwide”, he said among others.

Tell us a bit about your impressions and challenges in running a company?

"The field of programming and information technology has the highest potential in the market and the best opportunities. Competition is challenging, of course, but by offering something unique and valuable in the market, you will always succeed. Therefore, one should never stop," said Denisi.

Shkolla Digjitale gave Denisi the opportunity to start his internship at StarLabs as a developer in Laravel and PHP, which he learned in the second year of the programming course.

"It is one of the best experiences so far, where I have the opportunity to work and constantly learn new things that are required in the job market thanks to a fantastic team with positive energy," he said. Denisi suggests that all young people learn programming and become part of Shkolla Digjitale for a better future and a more successful career in the field of technology.
