When we asked Dion where he first heard about the programming course, he replied: “I first became interested in Shkolla Digjitale because of the school building in Ferizaj, which prompted me to learn more about it. Since 2017, four (4) years ago, I started the programming course, and today I continue to be part of this school, at the advanced level,” said Dion.
Regarding how much knowledge he had in this field before starting the programming course at Shkolla Digjitale, Dion said he started from zero, with no prior knowledge. About his many projects completed during the four (4) year period, Dion emphasized: “Among my most special projects, which I put a lot of dedication into and worked on with great motivation, I would single out the project done with PHP and MySQL languages, because the connection and collaboration of the database was something that sparked my interest a lot.”
We recall that Dion, thanks to his active engagement in the online activities organized every week by Shkolla Digjitale and thanks to the many votes from other students, was House Master at Shkolla Digjitale in the academic year 2019/2020. Regarding this, he told us more: “Houses at Shkolla Digjitale is one of the most valuable experiences for me, because thanks to my engagement with houses, I have met many talented students from all over the world. With these students, we have collaborated to win the houses competition, and today we share the same interests and continue to have a good friendship. Engaging with houses has allowed me to learn and participate in games at the same time. Also, coding projects and decoding codes has been one of the most attractive aspects, because at the same time I gained knowledge in programming and had fun with interesting activities.”
As House Master at Shkolla Digjitale, Dioni emphasizes that challenges develop students' logic in various fields of technology and beyond, so he suggests all students get involved and be part of them. "Two challenges I single out are the code decryption one, which I finished first among all participants, and it was also my first decryption that lasted several hours. After this challenge, Shkolla Digjitale created a personal challenge for me to get even more involved in this direction since I had been successful. I felt extremely happy when I completed these two challenges successfully," he said among other things.
How much the programming course has helped Dioni in his faculty direction, he tells us more: "Currently, I am at the Java level, which is known as one of the most popular languages in the world and will undoubtedly be very important in my future. At the same time, I am studying at UBT college in Computer Science and Engineering. The knowledge I gained in the programming course has given me a very good foundation for faculty, thanks to which I find my studies much easier."
Currently, Dioni is working on several projects simultaneously with the Java programming language, in order to practice all the knowledge gained at Shkolla Digjitale.
Learning programming has many benefits for children because it teaches them to think logically, learn problem-solving, develop work habits, express creativity, and socialize with the programmer community from all over the world. Register now for the most attractive course of the digital era.
