The director of Shkolla Digjitale and StarLabs, Hana Qerimi, shared the successful journey of both companies at the most unique startup conference in Europe, the "Pirate Summit" held in Cologne, Germany. Before hundreds of attendees, during her speech Hana unveiled the inspiring story of Shkolla Digjitale and StarLabs, starting from their founding, the education of children aged 8 to 18 in the field of programming, the major impact in this sector locally, and up to international success. "Programming is the language of the future," said Hana as a starting point in her speech before an open, inspiring, and creative atmosphere. Among the many participants from various companies from 26 different countries of the world, Hana was undoubtedly an inspiration with her story, telling about the beginnings of Shkolla Digjitale and StarLabs.
She shared the story of how seven years ago, together with Darsej Rizaj, they had the idea to create a course where children would learn different programming languages, an idea that started with a budget from family savings and the help of close people, and which has now turned into a global trend, creating partners in many countries of the world. Shkolla Digjitale with its curriculum, teaching methodology, learning management systems, customer relationship management systems - all created, developed, managed, updated, and adapted by our staff in Kosovo, has for years now operated as a franchise for the local and international market. Through Shkolla Digjitale's franchises, we are teaching and preparing children for the future, in different countries, with over fifty locations currently.
